Meet the Artist! ( and Firestorm)
I thought this would be a fun update to share and share a bit about myself, as university work has got me in a strangle hold at the moment and haven’t had much chance to practice or do personal pieces.
So I thought I’d have a go at this that’s doing the rounds! Has been a really good pick me up after some stressful weeks at university, and helped get me in a drawing mood again.
Its simplistic and stylised but was good exercise!
Apologies about the colour quality etc, my scanners acting up again!
Done in copic markers and uni pin pens.
-And don’t forget, its the last couple of days to get 10% off everything on me on my Etsy! –
I’m afraid I was away when the date had been scheduled and the exhibition was shown and so was unable to update you all about my upcoming exhibition with the SPORE collaborative in December, but I was told it was a great success, with many other mini events taking place around it and the auctioning off of the artworks that were created for a local Autistic charity also went exceptionally well.
Every object in the exhibition had been originally bought from The Autistic Society charity shop, and our artists worked their magic on them and turned them into fantastic pieces of art. All profits raised will also be donated back to the cause.
The collaborative is planning more events in the future and hopefully will be equally as successful and awesome to be involved with!
My piece involved giving new life to an antique, tarnished bronze frame with acrylic paints and pen.
I have been updating my Etsy with loads of new prints and original Inktober works up amongst other things!
Perfect Christmas pressies or a sneaky treat for yourself! Inktober works are a great way to get an original piece for a fraction of the price.
